Laboratory analysis: Population analysis in anaerobic reactors
A cultivation-independent profile of all bacteria and archaea populations in anaerobic reactors is created. Existing bacteria and archaea populations (including methane bacteria) are classified according to their affiliation to the main groups and the individual groups are quantified as a percentage of the vital flora. Not only known, cultivable populations are recorded with the gene probes, but also non-cultivable populations are assigned to the existing main groups, thus providing a comprehensive overview of all existing populations. In addition, the total cell count (live and dead) per volume or weight is determined. This service is ideal when a comprehensive microbiological analysis of anaerobic reactors is required. The results provide a direct view into the relevant living populations in anaerobic reactors and allow a simple and quick comparison of the population profiles of different samples.
Among other things, the report contains informative photo documentation of the relevant populations directly in the test material.
