On our behalf, Brevo processes in particular the contact data required for newsletter distribution as well as information relating to registration, sending, delivery and use of our newsletters.

Newsletter analysis

The newsletters sent via Brevo enable us to analyse newsletter usage. In particular, we may record whether a newsletter has been opened, which links contained in the newsletter have been clicked and when such interactions took place.

This information may be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. This allows us, for example, to identify which content and topics are of interest to individual recipients. We use this information for statistical analysis and to optimise our newsletters and tailor their content more closely to recipients’ interests.

Data processing agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Sendinblue SAS in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Sendinblue SAS processes personal data in connection with our use of Brevo on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.

Plugins and tools

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 in the Brevo forms embedded on our website. reCAPTCHA is used to protect the forms against automated submissions, spam and misuse and to determine whether an entry is likely to have been made by a human or by an automated system.

reCAPTCHA v3 operates in the background and evaluates various technical information and interactions to assess whether an access attempt can be considered legitimate. In particular, the IP address, browser and device information, date and duration of access as well as information about interactions with the website may be processed. reCAPTCHA also uses the _grecaptcha cookie.

The data processed in connection with reCAPTCHA is transmitted to Google. Since April 2, 2026, Google processes so-called reCAPTCHA Customer Data as a processor. We are responsible for the processing of personal data collected in connection with the use of reCAPTCHA. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Cloud Terms of Service and the Cloud Data Processing Addendum.

We use reCAPTCHA exclusively to protect our forms and for security, fraud prevention and abuse prevention purposes. The processing of personal data is based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and functionality of our website and online forms pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Where information is stored on or accessed from your terminal device in connection with reCAPTCHA and this is not strictly necessary for providing the security function used by you, the processing is based on your consent pursuant to Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Google processes reCAPTCHA Customer Data solely in connection with providing and maintaining the service and ensuring its security, threat detection and abuse prevention functions.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps on our website to provide a clear visual representation of geographical information and locations. Google Maps is a service of the Google Maps Platform.
