Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater
The qPCR VIT® Corona test kit enables the specific and robust detection of SARS-CoV-2 directly in wastewater samples. In a 4-fold reaction (4plex), two different genome regions of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and two control targets are detected in parallel. The analysis is carried out using qPCR and the data is displayed as a curve in the ABE Dashboard of the VIT® Vision software. All essential consumables for carrying out the analysis are included in the test kit. Package size: 100 reactions per kit.
The qPCR VIT® test kits are based on the RT-qPCR method recommended by the EU Commission and ESI-CorA and are used within the AMELAG project of the RKI and UBA.
