The Position
We are looking for a technical assistant for our ISO 9001 certified service area. You will be responsible for the analysis of microbiological samples using molecular biological and conventional methods. You will complement our experienced team throughout the entire process chain, from sample receipt to analysis and evaluation.
In addition, you will support the production management in our ISO 9001 certified production area. You will be involved in the entire production process, from the raw materials to the finished product, while always maintaining an overview.
You will enjoy and be passionate about ensuring the highest quality for the benefit of our customers. You enjoy structured work and perfect organisation and precision are not a challenge for you, but a matter of course. Your work is always varied and interesting. You accompany our constantly growing portfolio with pride and conscientiousness, help to reliably carry out microbiological service orders and can thus be sure of working at the forefront of innovative microbiology.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Carrying out microbiological and molecular biological analyses
- Evaluation of microbiological samples
- Laboratory organisation
- Production incl. quality control of reagents
- Packaging of semi-finished and finished products
- Storage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products
- Dispatch of test kits
- Process monitoring
- ISO 9001:2015 documentation
Requirements
- Graduation as a BTA, CTA or ATA/LTA
- Experience in microbiological work
- Knowledge of molecular biology, in particular PCR, fluorescence in situ hybridisation and flow cytometry
- Technical skills
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015
- Good written and spoken German (at least B2)
- Ability to work in a team
