ANAMMOX Analysis

Quantitative analysis of ANAMMOX bacteria in sludge samples

Product Number: 01120008

Lab analysis of ANAMMOX bacteria in anaerobic reactors

Identification and quantification of bacteria which are responsible for aerobic ammonia oxidation (ANAMMOX). This important group of bacteria enables a elimination of nitrogen without cost intensive oxygen supply in wastewater treatment plants. The whole process features many advantages but the implementing is very ambitious on the part of process technology. A monitoring of the ANAMMOX-bacteria with specific gene probes offers reasonable support in process management. The ANAMMOX-bacteria are identified as group parameters directly in sample and quantified as percentage of the living bacterial flora.

An informative photo documentation visualizing ANAMMOX-bacteria in the sample material is also prepared.

Which method is applied?
The reliable VIT® gene probe technology.

Which requirements are important?
Please request our simple protocol for fixation of wastewater samples. Make sure that you fixate/stabilize your samples in the indicated manner before sending the samples to us.

This service is available as serviceplus.

You would like to analzye your populations directly on site?
No problem with our test kit VIT® ANAMMOX.
