vermicon offers standard and individual services for the detection of microorganisms. Based on our wide portfolio of technologies we can provide you with convincing answers to your microbiological questions. We are also available as a professional partner for research co-operations.
Whether it is the detection of bacteria in food, water, wastewater, drinks, the environment, or industrial samples, we can provide you with the fastest and best solution. We carry out the analysis for you. Individual adaptations for the analysis of complex samples are of course possible. Given our long term experience in microbiology you can be sure that we are able to offer you good value and service.
Whether you are looking for the whole spectrum of classic microbiology or the application of modern molecular biology technologies, we can competently and reliably analyse your samples in our modern L2 laboratories. We are not only a service provider in the classic sense. Although we carry out standard analyses our special competence lies in the analysis of unusual sample matrixes. A multitude of successfully completed research co-operations have cemented our reputation in this area.
Only a very small percentage of bacteria can be detected using conventional methods. This is due to the fact that it is difficult or not possible to cultivate a large number of bacteria. The vermicon team possesses special knowledge about the detection of unknown microorganisms. Using FISH, DGGE, rRNA-approach and other molecular biology techniques, unknown and culturable microorganisms, even in the smallest quantities, can be reliably identified in highly complex samples.
Using powerful molecular biological methods we can identify and visualise the intact bacteria cells directly in their own environments, where they are the most relevant for your results: the place they operate in. In addition to the analysis of the prevalent bacteria populations, the sought after bacteria is directly identified and made visible. This prevents undesired artifacts such as population shifts, that occur during investigations using other methods, and allows new and exciting analysis of the bacteria directly at their site of action
We can even be your reliable partner for complex research projects of long duration. Our team is personally there for you and will support you even after carrying out the laboratory work e.g. in the analysis and interpretation of the results. You will always have the feeling that you are being looked after. Ask around about our company. We are known for our good service.
For already 10 years vermicon is your reliable partner in the field of microbiology. With satisfied customers worldwide vermicon is a leading provider of products and services for the rapid and highly specific detection of bacteria.
