In addition to the identification and quantification of bacteria using FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation), VIT (TM) (vermicon identification technology) and other technologies we can also make the bacteria in your sample visible. The analysis of pure cultures can be realized down to strain level.

Whether light microscopy or fluorescence microscopy, our modern and powerful equipment, consisting of various microscope models, allows an effective analysis of your samples as well as reliable quantification. Additionally, on request, we can provide you with pictorial documentation (analogue or digital) of your sample for your archive.  Bacteria are often not available as a mixed or a pure culture. In such cases the bacteria must be cloned and gene banks must be created. vermicon has the necessary authorizations to effectively and reliably carry out this work for you.  A wide range of pathogenic bacteria can be safely and reliably analysed in our laboratory. With our SalmoQuick(TM) technology we analyse for example bacteria which belong to Salmonella within hours.

Powerful nucleic-based technologies allow the exact identification and phylogenetic classification of non-culturable and unknown bacteria direct in your samples. Even when you can only identify the specific bacteria based on the morphology, we can provide you with the sequence, the phylogenetic classification and if desired the specific identification system for continuous monitoring of the bacteria.

| For complex special applications investigations can be carried out with a confocal LaserScanning-Microscope. In this way bacteria populations can be analysed in 3D direct in the biocoenosis. The analysis created completes the direct insight into the composition of the bacteria in your sample. |

| Using denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis we can investigate your populations quickly and reliably for the presence of different bacteria groups and species. This is ideal for the screening of multitude samples. |
