Detection of biofilm-indicating Cloacibacterium spp.

The monitoring and systematic combat and avoidance of biofilm formation plays a major role in paper mills. Indicator organisms for early biofilm formation primarily are bacteria of the genus Tepidimonas and Cloacibacterium. Using the detection kit VIT® Tepidimonas, the detection of this microorganisms is possible directly on location – proven safely and reliably.

An ideal complement to our kit VIT® Tepidimonas – detect both indicator organisms for biofilm formation in time.

The analysis is easy to conduct – only few minutes hands-on time. VIT® analysis is directly made on an aliquot of the sample material. The results are provided within 3 hours. Analysis is performed by using a fluorescence microscope. All essential expendable materials required for analysis are contained in the kit. Package size: 25 analysis.

Analysis can be performed with following samples:

  • isolates (direct)
