VIT® Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Test kit for the rapid analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Item Number: 01210001

Detection of pathogenic germs

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram negative bacterium that is quite common in the environment and is feared as a pathogen. Especially in the beverage manufacturing industry, a contamination of bottle washing systems or spray water with this organism can indicate a contamination with surface water. For companies, the detection of the bacterium is of utmost importance. The detection system VIT® Pseudomonas aeruginosa identifies Pseudomonas aeruginosa rapidly and specifically. Only living cells are detected. Evaluation with a VIT® adapted fluorescence microscope produces unequivocal results without requiring professional experience.

The analysis is easy to conduct – only few minutes hands-on time. The results are provided within 3 hours. All essential consumables required for analysis are contained in the kit. Package size: 25 analyses.

Analysis can be performed with following samples:

  • Isolates (directly)
  • Liquid enrichment (directly)
  • Washing water (short pre-enrichment)

This product is also available as service:
