VIT-Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Fast and reliable detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (# 01210001)
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram-negative, in environment common bacterium, which is feared as a pathogen. Mainly in beverage manufacturing industry the pollution of bottle-washing-systems or splashing water with the germ can be a sign of contamination with surface water. For companies the detection of the bacterium is of utmost importance. The detection system VIT-Pseudomonas aeruginosa identifies Pseudomonas aeruginosa rapidly and specifically. Only living cells are detected. Evaluation with a VIT-adapted fluorescence microscope produces unequivocal results without requiring professional experience.
The kit contains all essential expendable materials required for analysis. Only few minutes hands-on time. The results of the analysis are provided within 3 hours. Analysis is performed by using a fluorescence microscope.
Analysis can be performed with following samples:
- Isolates (directly)
- Liquid enrichment (directly)
- Drinking water (short pre-enrichment)
- Bathing water (short pre-enrichment)
Advantages
- specific detection Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- detection of living bacteria exclusively
- fast detection
- highest specificity
- detection is based upon our reliable VIT(R) gene probe technology
