VIT-Microthrix specifically detects Microthrix parvicella directly within your wastewater sample. Microthrix parvicella is considered primary cause to bulking and floating sludge in municipal wastewater treatment plants. By means of our VIT key, contained bacteria can be quantified. Changes within one population can thus be monitored continuously.
By integrating our product into an early warning system you will save a considerable amount of chemicals.
Our kit contains all essential expendable materials required for analysis. Following a short sample pre-enrichment VIT analysis may commence. Pre-enrichment is completed within minutes. Final results are provided within 3 hours. Analysis is conducted with a fluorescence microscope.
