Fast identification and quantification of methanogenic bacteria directly in sample material (# 01110015)

Our testkit VIT-Methanogenic bacteria enables the identification of living methanogenic Archaea (or: methanogenic bacteria) in samples of the anaerobic sludge treatment, biogas reactors and pellet sludges. Methanogenic Archaea are identified unequivocally directly in the sample material. Additionally, a quantitative evaluation in comparison to the total vital flora can be performed.

With VIT-Methanogenic bacteria the microbiology of methane producing plants reasonably can be monitored.

The kit contains all essential consumables e required for analysis. Only few minutes hands-on time and the results are provided within 3 hours. Analysis is carried out by using a fluorescence microscope.

Analysis can be performed with following samples:

  • anaerobic sludge from biogas-reactors
  • anaerobic pellet sludge
  • samples from digestors
  • anaerobic reactors
