The "water test Legionella" gives you the opportunity to check the water in your household. The test kit contains a sample flask, a detailed instruction manual and a (cost-free) return stamp. Taking the sample is easy and described in the short manual: Just fill water from any chosen sampling point into the sampling flask. Then send it back to the vermicon laboratory cost-free. Results will be submitted to you within one week.

Current research gives an estimate of thousands of deaths in Germany every year caused by so called Legionella bacteria leading to fatal pneumonia when inhaled. Respiratory tracts infection, for instance, may occur after inhaling contaminated shower steam.

Procedure
After placing your order, the sample analysis "Legionella water testing" kit including a detailed manual and required sample container will be delivered to you within 1-2 days. You are to then take your water sample locally (e.g. bath, tap or tank water) and send it in the box provided by us to vermicon AG located in Munich. Results will be submitted to you within one week.
