Being certain that your tap water supplied is of high quality allows you to live a carefree life with a safe feeling in your own home. Drinking water contaminations are mostly invisible and unavoidable by water supply companies. Often the cause of the contamination lies in your home pipe network or installations. To provide you with a means of home testing and give you back a safe feeling in your family home we developed home use water tests for private customers. You can now test your private water and prevent damage to your health by unwanted water ingredients or bacteria.

With vermicon’s water tests you can test your home water rapidly, reliably and with low expenses – it’s easy to handle and low in effort.

Currently we provide you with 2 different tests:

Water Test Legionella

All bacteria of the Legionella genus and specifically Legionella pneumophila find perfect growth conditions in and around water in human environment. The bacteria may induce the life-threatening Legionnaire’s disease which leads to pneumonia with an estimated lethality rate of 15%. Further estimates give a number of 10.000 infection deaths every year in Germany alone. Legionella contamination may occur everywhere: in bath, drinking and tap water as well as in water tanks, jacuzzis and air conditioning systems. With the Legionella water test bacteria are identified rapidly and reliably – giving you 100% certainty.

Water test E.coli/Coliforms

E. coli occurrence and the presence of coliform bacteria both indicate faecal contamination constituting a major health hazard. Often, additional pathogenic germs accompany coliform bacteria occurrence which may lead to dramatic health damages. The water test E. coli/Coliforms rapidly and reliably detects Escherichia coli and coliform bacteria in drinking, tap water and water tanks. Make sure your water is not contaminated by these bacteria.
