Highly precise identification on a molecular level

MIS is vermicon's service for rapid microbial identification. Three different services are available for our customers: bacteria, yeasts or moulds contained submitted as pure cultures or purified, highly molecular DNA – can be identified.

Microorganisms are identified by analysing their genetic make-up which is subsequently compared with extensive data bases for identification. In order to identify submitted microorganisms, sequence analysis of the entire or partial rDNA is conducted. Then, the sequences are evaluated with public data bases and similarity values to closely related species are reported. Though, you can rely on highest accuracy.

How to get a 20% discount:

2. Send your voucher with a pure culture to vermicon AG as enrichment broth or grown on agar plates or purified DNA, adequately specified.
3. After the receipt of your sample you will be notified of its arrival via email. The results of the identification will be provided to you as analysis report.
